The combination of drama, music, and lyrics has inspired the human soul for millennia.
I am a composer/lyricist and sometimes book writer with intention to create inspiring and spiritually themed work, centering on musical theater as a form.
I desire to create work that is well crafted, professional, and stands on its artistic merits dramatically, lyrically, and musically. Inspirational does not have to mean amateurish.
Currently I am wrapping up the book* for a musical about near death experiences (NDEs), based on documented research. Female lead, 35-50, and 4 additional players (2 men, 2 women). I am starting the process of song spotting and anticipate readings by late summer, with planned submission to 2025 Minnesota Fringe.
I’m not necessarily looking for credulous “believers.” Discernment is essential when considering spiritual and paranormal phenomena. But if you are a zealous materialist, atheist skeptic, we probably aren’t a fit.
